Principle of plastic Granulator


The plastic granulator is a volumetric metering feeding device. It can feed the material to the next process evenly and continuously, and can withstand a large warehouse pressure. As a fine-grained material feeding equipment, it is suitable for conveying various non-sticky materials in powder, material or small pieces, such as coal powder, cement, clinker, limestone, shale, coal gangue, clay, etc. Or small pieces of material. It can be widely used in gold dressing plants, coal mining plants and chemicals, infrastructure and mechanized foundry workshops for continuous, uniform and quantitative feeding and batching. This machine has simple structure, convenient adjustment and superior performance. This machine is suitable for conveying materials with a particle size of not more than 50mm, and is not suitable for conveying materials with high viscosity and not easy to flow and materials with particularly good fluidity.
The raw meal powder is evenly moistened by the atomized water in the double-shaft mixer to form a ball core with a very uniform particle size, and then sent to the ball forming tray for ball formation. The water content of the material ball should be controlled at 12~14%, most of the water should be added in the double-shaft mixer, only a small amount of supplemental water should be added to the ball-forming plate, and the supplemental water amount should be controlled at about 0~3%. Dry powder granulation is directly added to the ball-forming disc, and an appropriate amount of water is sprayed. After the raw material ball core enters the ball-forming disc, it moves along the parabola under the action of centrifugal force, friction and gravity in the disc. Due to the cohesiveness and plasticity of the material, the cores adhere to each other during the movement and gradually grow up. When the inclination angle, the height of the disc edge, the rotation speed and the moisture content of the ball-shaped disc are constant, the balls of different particle sizes will leave the disc edge and roll down at different angles due to different gravity. The material ball continuously pushes the water out of the surface during the continuous rolling process. Due to the cohesiveness of the material and the natural volatilization of the surface liquid film, the material ball has a certain strength. The edge of the disc is discharged out of the disc.
